Why should I hire a freelance web desiger like you instead of a ecommerce developer or free do it your self agency?

ANSWER:
I have nothing against ecommerce developer or free do it your self agency. In fact, those types of businesses are some of my best clients that desire a more professional approach.

However, if the project you’re doing needs industry standard development (i.e. a website, brochure, landing page or press release) you’ll probably save a lot by coming directly to me.

Typically, agencies have higher overhead than I do, and it’s reflected in their rates. Plus, most agencies don’t have in-house developers. Instead, some tasks may be out-sourced.

Assuming I’ve decided to go the freelance route, why should I hire you vs. another web designer?

ANSWER:
I have over 20 years of professional experience, and an MBA from University of Phoenix.

I bring not only expert web desings skills to the table, but also marketing acumen and business know-how. I’ve developed for many companies and helped them get results. I can do the same for you.

What are your terms?

ANSWER:
I require a 50% deposit up front for most projects. The balance is due upon project completion. After we’ve completed our first few projects together, we can discuss credit terms.

What are your basic service offerings?

ANSWER:
Our basic offerings are:
1.) Professional design including photos and copy created specifically for your business (some template base).
2.) Monthly website updates.
3.) Calendar invites through Constant Contact; setup and maintenance.
4.) Social Media web embedding i.e. Blogs.
5.) Professional Email setup.
6.) Ecommerce and online shopping.
7.) Search engine optimization.
8.) Desktop Publishing (i.e. flyers/news letters).

How do I get a price quote?

ANSWER:
To submit an online price quote click on the price quote link that is on the home page. A link to a price quote can also be located on the solutions and options pages.

Do you except online payments?

ANSWER:
Yes, JGWD Solutions excepts online payments. Non-Premier Member the online payments option is located on our solutions page.

What is the cancellation and refund policy on JGWD Solutions Services?

ANSWER:
We provide a 30-day hassle-free refund policy on all Premium Services, with the exception of domain names or domain services. To request a refund or to cancel the renewal of your Premium Services, please login and visit the "Support" link to speak to a customer representative or use the contact us link. All Cancellations "MUST" be done in writing per agreement.

What are your current rates?

ANSWER:

How do I get alerts on updates and newsletters?

ANSWER:
Sign up for the mailing list on the solutions page. Premier Members can also sign up and the Client Access Only Page once logged in.

How do I submit a Testimony?

ANSWER:
Testimonies are merely a way for customers to express their feelings on JGWD Solutions’ services. To submit a testimony please click on the "See More" link on the home page, about us page, or Testimony link at the bottom of every page of this web site. Also, locate the "Click here to add your testimony" on the Testimony page. Web site testimonials confer our legitimacy and likeability to our project. That said, please take the time to review our site and services and feel free to submit a testimony today. When submiting a testimonial, please include your Name, Email, Company Name and any contact information desired.

How do you get most of your clients?

ANSWER:
My clients come from a variety of sources:

1.) Referrals from existing clients
2.) Referrals from other professionals (i.e. web designers, graphic designers, programmers, etc.)
3.) Clients who search Google and find my website
4.) Sub-contract work from clients of marketing agencies, web designers and ad agencies

How long are turnaround times?

ANSWER:
My clients are usually impressed with how efficiently things get done. The turnaround will depend on the size and complexity of your project.

Once we clarify the parameters of your project, I’ll give you a firm completion date. If you have a deadline to meet, please let me know up front, and I’ll do everything I can to accommodate you.

What types of payment do you accept?

ANSWER:
I accept company checks or electronic payments through PayPal and Venmo. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still pay through PayPal using a Visa or MasterCard credit card. I can send you a link that makes the process super easy. Please be aware that PayPal charges a fee of approximately 3%.

If you are based outside the U.S., I cannot accept a check. Payment must be made through PayPal. Prices are determined in dollars and then converted through PayPal into your country's currency. Please be aware that PayPal charges an international money transfer fee, which is based on your country of origin.

Are you a B2B developer or a B2C developer?

ANSWER:
I'm both. Over the many years I’ve been in business, I’ve had clients and projects that fell into both categories. That’s not to say that I accept every project. When we talk, I’ll ask you questions about your business. If I’m not a fit, I’ll tell you up front.

What makes you unique as a freelance developer?

ANSWER:
Other than my education and professional experience, I care about my clients and their success. I get wholly invested in every project I do. I look at the big picture but also pay attention to details. I think strategically but with a creative flair.

When we begin working together, you’ll find I ask lots of questions. More importantly, I listen to your answers. I want to understand your business model. I setup clients quickly and deliver marketing insights that go well beyond writing a few pages of code.

Will I have to sign a contract?

ANSWER:
Yes. After we’ve discussed the parameters of your project, I’ll put together an agreement that summarizes the details including the price. The agreement is a good way for us both to ensure that we have the same expectations.
